Hello
Morgen,
As our
valued Employee Transportation Coordinator, we want you to be the first to know
about our new
ride match system, www.iRideShare.org! More information about the
system is described below. To help you spread the word at your
office, we've equipped you with a template email to send to your
co-workers, posters and live demos.
We also
have some news to share about Bike Month 2010 - Life in the Bike Lane and Cal
Poly's recent award from the National Best
Workplace for Commuters Program.
Cheers!

Your solution to carpool
matching and so much more! www.iRideShare.org
SLO
Regional Rideshare is pleased to announce the soft launch of our new
ride match system, iRideShare.org. Replacing TripLink for carpool,
bike buddy matching and emissions tracking; iRideShare.org is quick,
convenient and confidential.
As Employee Transportation Coordinators (ETC's), you are the first to get a sneak peek of
the new system. Therefore, spread the news at your office, at home
and with friends. We've even created a template email that you can
copy, paste and send to your office. The more people in the system,
the greater the possibility of getting a match - it's that simple. If
you don't find a match the first time, don't give up hope, try it
again after a few weeks. And don't forget to print and hang a poster or flyer in
your Transportation
Information Center, bathroom stalls,
common rooms, ect. Don't have a Transportation Information Center?
Let us know and we'll deliver one to you for free. We also have handy
business cards about the system that you can hand out. Let us know if
we can mail some to your office.
A few things to note:
1. All TripLink users will be asked to register at iRideShare.org
2. The new system offers custom sub-sites for organizations. As an
ETC, it is easy to set-up iRideShare.org to track your office's
emissions/trips/miles/cost savings reduction, create your own
look/feel for the system including web banners/colors and even edit
the text that your co-workers see when they login. If you are
interested in these features, attend the workshop described below or contact us
3. If you are familiar with our Lucky Bucks Program, please note that
Lucky Bucks will continue to remain in TripLink until we move it over
to iRideShare.org in April
Rideshare will be hosting a one hour demo of the new
system, including trips and tricks on how to set up a custom
sub-site, Wednesday, February 17th at 7:30AM at the Rideshare Office
(1114 Marsh Street, SLO). Coffee and breakfast snacks will be
provided. Click
here to RSVP.
