The Workplace Bike Sharing Program
This service provides bike sharing for employers in the Transportation Choices Program.
Here's how it works:
1. We provide your office/department with 2 free bikes (one women's, one men's), two helmets and two locks
2. We provide you with a turn key program that includes waiver forms for your employees/coworkers to sign and a check-out/bike inventory system
3. You make sure members in your office who use the bikes take a one hour bike safety class offered by the SLO County Bicycle Coalition (can be provided during lunch time at your office)
4. You are in charge of the bike's maintenance and must record trips used on the bike in TripLink (so we can measure the amount of emissions reduced by the program, allowing us to advocate for more bikes)
Many thanks to the Honor Farm for donating the bikes! To learn more about the program and get started, email Kelsie at kgreer@rideshare.org or call her at 781-1385. |

Commute Survey & Trip Reduction Plan
If it has been over a year since your Commute Survey or Trip Reduction Plan - it's time for a new one. The simple online Commute Survey assesses how your employees get to work and their interests towards commute alternatives. We provide the online survey, evaluate the data and develop or reevaluate your Trip Reduction Plan based upon the survey results. The Trip Reduction Plan will give you guidance on which modes are a priority for your office and how to best tailor your program to meet the needs of employees.
