Rideshare provides several youth programs and services that K-12 students, parents and schools can take advantage of. Sometimes the smallest things make the biggest difference. If your parents drop you off at school, try walking or riding your bike instead just one day a week. By making small changes in our everyday routines, we can create cleaner air, have more fun and make our streets and roads safer.
Summer Break Pass When school’s out, the bus is in! The Summer Break Pass takes K-12 students anywhere the bus goes in San Luis Obispo County. All students, all summer! No car, no parents necessary. Give students the opportunity to get out and about, without adding more cars to the road. Encourage safe, responsible transportation that moves people, not cars. Click here to find out more. Safe Routes to School  Simply put, Safe Routes to School is a whole bunch of tools that you can use to encourage walking and bicycling around schools. By empowering our youth to get to school themselves, by walking and biking, we allow them to have tons of fun and create healthier and safer communities. Did we mention the time and cost savings for parents too? The Safe Routes to School program encompasses bicycling and walking education, school wide events, engineering around schools, and more.
