SLO Regional Rideshare provides a Guaranteed Ride Home Program for commuters.
Commuter Insurance Policy
When you carpool, vanpool, take the bus, walk or bike to work take away the worry if you need to get home in case of an emergency. Anyone in San Luis Obispo or the City of Santa Maria who commutes to work besides driving alone and who has registered with TripLink is eligible to use the Guaranteed Ride Home Program.
When you are enrolled, rest assured you’ll be provided door-to-door service at just $4.00 per ride.

How it Works:
Signup with TripLink When you have an emergency just call 541-TRIP before 5:00 p.m. (GRH rides are provided Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.) A Ride-On van will pick you up within 30 minutes and take you anywhere in SLO County or the City of Santa Maria.
You are eligible for up to four Guaranteed Ride Home rides during July through June. You pay only $4.00 per ride. (SLO County, Cal Poly, Sierra Vista and PG&E employees do not incur any fee for using the Guaranteed Ride Home program.)
