Bicycling is simply the best way to get around.
The mild climate and moderate traffic make biking in San Luis Obispo County easy, fun and good for you.

Bicycle racks
are available on all regional RTA, SCAT and SLO Transit buses. Bicycles may be boarded at any designated bus stop. Good weather and a large community of bike riders sometimes fill bus bike racks to capacity. You should always have necessary equipment to lock your bike in case bike racks on the bus are full.

Bicycle lockers are available at some Transit Stops and Park & Ride Lots. Lockers are available for day use or long term rental. To find out more about bike lockers and to download an application, click here.
