No drop mountain bike ride at Montaña de Oro State Park open to all Women Cyclists! Meet at Foothill Cyclery at 9:30am to carpool. We will drive out to MDO and determine route by skill of riders. Trail options include Hazard Peak and Oats Peak. Light snacks will be provided before the ride by Foothill Cyclery as well as free bike checks. All you need to bring is your mountain bike, helmet, and some water! Free water bottles and other goodies for those who attend. If you don’t have a mountain bike or want to demo a nicer one, the shop has some rentals and if offering a special rate for this ride. Inquire with Josh Cohen at Foothill Cyclery. For more info visit: https://www.facebook.com/events/1006367682781122/ CycloFemme is a Global Women’s Cycling Day created TO HONOR THE PAST and the emancipation of our grandmothers and great-grandmothers, for the freedom to choose and the chance to wear pants. TO CELEBRATE THE PRESENT and the riders who keep it rolling, bringing women’s racing to the forefront, pushing the limits, breaking down barriers and sharing the love of the bike with everyone along the way. TO EMPOWER THE FUTURE of women in cycling and the opportunity for positive social change. The annual Mother’s Day ride unites riders, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity or bicycle preference to share in the joy of cycling. Ride with us this May 8 as we Honor the Past, Celebrate the Present, Empower the Future of Women in Cycling.
