This is a FREE event for bicycle owners. Ride or bring bikes to the San Luis Obispo Police Department, 1042 Walnut Street on Saturday, May 14 from 10am to 2pm to register bikes AND there will be free engraving available. Adding a drivers’ license number to a bike frame can greatly increase your chance of having a stolen bike returned when found by law enforcement. SLO has experienced a significant increase in property crimes recently which includes bicycle theft. Help deter theft by securing bicycles out of public view and with proper locks.
