Caltrans will be leading a bike ride through the city of San Luis Obispo to highlight innovations in bikeways that Caltrans and the City have collaborated on through the years and a glimpse of what’s on the horizon. Within the proximity of only a few square miles, San Luis Obispo boasts many bikeway innovations that you normally only find in bigger cities. See what it’s all about. This ride will be led at a leisurely and informal pace and will begin with a short bike safety presentation. Helmets and lights required. Meet with your bike at Meadow Park and join a five mile loop around town before finishing in downtown San Luis Obispo.
