In June, Wilshire Health and Community Services announced its closure, including the operation of its Volunteer Driver Program. This is a huge loss for the SLO County Region and SLOCOG (Rideshare’s parent agency) is working on solutions for a replacement program. With limited regional funding for transportation available, we anticipate this to take some time to develop.
